Faraz Anwar, born on July 15, 1976, in Karachi, Pakistan, is a pioneering figure in the world of instrumental rock and progressive metal.

His musical journey began at the age of six when he was captivated by Yngwie Malmsteen's performance on television, inspiring him to pick up the guitar.

By 1990, Faraz had started playing the guitar and soon embarked on collaborations with prominent Pakistani musicians, including Ali Haider, Junoon, and Sajjad Ali, among others.

In 1998, he released his first experimental album, 'Panchi,' and by 2001, his solo instrumental album, "Abstract Point of View," earned him international recognition.
