The family of late Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri (1944-2005) counts his six children (Ayman, Fahd, Hind, Joumana, Saad, Bahaa), his widow Nazik Hariri, his sister former MP Bahia Hariri, his nephews Nader and Ahmad, as well as his brother Chafik.

A tycoon and businessman, Rafik Hariri became a multi-billionaire in Saudi Arabia after founding Saudi Oger, the construction company used by the Saudi royal family for most of their main investments. He was assassinated in 2005.

After his killing, his sons inherited stakes in Saudi Oger and Ayman, Fahd, and Bahaa sold them to their brother Saad, Rafik’s second son and a former Prime Minister.

Saad Hariri was appointed Prime Minister in December 2016.
